What is the difference between the Youha breast pumps?

As a mother you want to make the best choice for your breast pump, and Youha offers three different hands-free breast pumps, the Youha The Ins Gen 1, NEXT and Gen 2. Let's delve deeper into the differences between these models so that you can choose the most suitable option. you can choose for your needs.

1. Motors and Control Options

Youha Gen 1 and NEXT

Both models have the same parts, but differ in the motor and the way of operation. The Gen 1 and NEXT can both be operated manually, but the Gen 1 can also be operated via the 'My Youha' app. The app offers Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to discreetly control the pump and adjust various settings.

Youha The NEXT
With an LED screen on top of the motor, The NEXT offers manual control with direct display of crucial information such as battery level, pumping time and suction level. Enjoy total control during your pumping session.

Youha Gen 2
Just like the Youha Gen 1, this model can be operated with the 'My Youha' app. It is also possible to operate this model manually via the buttons on the top of the motor. The app offers Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to discreetly control the pump and adjust various settings.

2. Collection Capacity and Motor Placement

Youha Gen 1 and The NEXT
These models have generous collection cups of 240 ml per breast, allowing you to express sufficient milk without having to pour off breast milk. The motor of these breast pumps is located on top of the cups.

Youha Gen 2
With 150 ml collection cups per breast and an integrated motor, the Gen 2 offers an even more compact fit. This gives you more freedom of movement while pumping, while the motor is discreetly incorporated into the cups.

3. Pumping Modes, Suction Levels and Noise Reduction
All three models have three pumping modes with 10 suction levels each. In addition, they can all be set to a silent mode, so you can pump discreetly and comfortably, even at night.

4. Accessories and ease of maintenance
The Youha Gen 1 and NEXT come standard with a 24mm breast shield and the Youha Gen 2 has two variants, namely with 24 and 28mm breast shields. If you order a 24mm Gen 2, we supply a 22mm breast shield reducer as standard and if you order a 28mm Gen we supply a 26mm breast shield reducer as standard. If you choose the Gen 1 or NEXT, they are supplied without breast shield reducers as standard, but these are available separately. All Youha breast shield reducers (17 to 22 mm and 26 mm) can be used for the Gen 1, Gen 2 and the NEXT breast pumps from Youha.

The Youha Gen 2 has one less part, which means less cleaning work, which is useful for shortening your cleaning time.

Furthermore, all three breast pumps are supplied with a charging cable, manual, storage bag(s) and spare valves.

5.Modern Design
The design of Gen 2 is slightly more modern than that of Gen 1 and NEXT. While personal taste plays a role, Gen 2's sleeker design may appeal to those who appreciate a contemporary look.

Conclusion: Youha has several choices with the Gen 1, NEXT and Gen 2, each with unique features. Consider your personal preferences and needs when choosing the ideal breast pump for a comfortable and easy-to-use pumping session.
